HUMAN’s IMTEC product line for the detection of autoimmune bowel diseases includes ELISAs for specific autoantibody markers such as d-gliadin (DGP) and tissue transglutaminase (tTG), crucial for diagnosing celiac disease. HUMAN’s Gastro-LIA is used for detecting IgA and IgG autoantibodies associated with gastrointestinal autoimmune diseases. It incorporates five different antigens to identify autoantibodies in patients suffering from conditions like celiac disease and autoimmune gastritis. HUMAN’s diagnostics also detect autoimmune causes of pernicious anemia through anti-parietal cell (PCA) and intrinsic factor (IF) autoantibodies. In Crohn’s disease, the presence of anti-saccharomyces cerevisiae mannan antibodies (ASCA) supports differentiation from ulcerative colitis.
